Terms of Service

These terms apply when you purchase Automate the Boring Course, Automate the Boring Club, or the Co-CEO (together, "the products") through our checkout at ThriveCart. By purchasing, you agree to the terms below. If something here doesn't make sense, email hey@laurahaleydt.com before you buy, not after.

What you're buying

The products are pre-recorded video lessons, templates, prompts and instruction files delivered digitally through Circle (our course and community platform). Nothing is shipped physically. Course access unlocks immediately on purchase unless we tell you otherwise at checkout. Club and Co-CEO also include live calls, community access, and monthly masterclasses for the period stated on the sales page at the time you purchased.

Payment

All products are sold as a single, one-time payment in the currency shown at checkout. Prices can change between launches, but the price you're charged is the price shown to you at the moment of purchase. Checkout and payment processing is handled by ThriveCart and its payment partners; we don't store your full card details ourselves.

Access, license and what you can't do with it

Buying a product gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own business. You can't resell, redistribute, publish, or teach the course content as your own, share your login or the files with people who haven't paid, or use the materials to build a directly competing product. You're welcome to talk about what you've learned, share your results, and use the prompts and workflows to run your own business exactly as intended.

A paid Claude account is required

The lessons are built around Claude, an AI tool from Anthropic. A paid Claude account, currently around $20 a month, is required to actually build and run the AI employees taught in the course. That subscription is separate from your purchase, billed directly by Anthropic, and not something we control the price or availability of.

No guaranteed results

We teach exactly what has worked in Laura's own business, and we mean that. But your results depend on your business, your existing audience, your offer, and how much of the material you actually implement, the same as they would with any employee, human or AI. Nothing in the products, the sales page, or any conversation with us is a promise of a specific income, follower count, or business outcome. Past results (Laura's own, or any student's) are not a guarantee of your results.

The 30-Day Guarantee

Full terms are on our dedicated guarantee page. In short: build what the lessons show you, and if it genuinely isn't working, tell us and we'll help you get it running. If we can't, you get a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Refunds outside of this guarantee, or requested without attempting to build and reach out first, are not issued.

Changes to the products

We may update, improve, add to, or reorganise lesson content over time, including as tools like Claude change. Club and Co-CEO buyers get these updates as part of their purchase. We won't remove access to material you've already been given.

Community and calls

Where a product includes community access (Circle) or live calls, normal standards of respectful conduct apply. We can remove access for anyone who is abusive, shares purchased materials outside the community, or disrupts calls for other members. This doesn't affect your access to the core lesson content you purchased.

Limitation of liability

The products are provided as educational and training material. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elle Synergy Ltd isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the materials, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing here limits liability where it can't legally be limited, such as for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Intellectual property

All course content, videos, templates, prompts, branding, and materials remain the property of Elle Synergy Ltd. Your purchase gives you a license to use them as described above, not ownership of the content itself.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any statutory consumer rights you have in the country where you live.
