Privacy Policy
We collect the minimum we need to deliver what you've asked for, send you what you signed up to receive, and run the business. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone outside the tools listed below that actually help us run this.
What we collect
- When you opt in for the free guide or join the waitlist: your first name and email address.
- When you comment a keyword on Instagram to get the freebie: your Instagram username and the fact that you commented, handled through Manychat.
- When you buy a product: your name, email address, billing address if required, and payment details, collected and processed directly by ThriveCart (we don't see or store your full card number).
- When you use Circle (community and course delivery): your profile information, posts, comments, and any messages you send inside the platform.
- Ordinary website data: basic analytics on how the sales page and opt-in pages are used, so we know what's working.
What we use it for
- Delivering the freebie, course access, files, and any bonuses to the right person.
- Sending the emails you signed up for: the waitlist sequence, launch updates, and ongoing content if you stay subscribed. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- Running the community, live calls, and support for Club and Co-CEO members.
- Understanding which pages, emails, and offers are actually working, so we can improve them.
- Meeting our own legal and accounting obligations, like keeping records of what was sold to whom.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of tools to actually run this business, and your data passes through the ones relevant to how you interact with us:
| Tool | What it handles |
|---|---|
| ThriveCart | Checkout and payment processing |
| Flodesk | Email marketing, the opt-in and waitlist forms |
| Manychat | Instagram DM automation, freebie keyword delivery |
| Circle | Course delivery and community |
| Zapier | Connecting the above tools to each other |
Each of these has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information to advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Cookies and tracking
Our pages may use standard cookies and pixels (for example, to measure ad performance or see how the page is used) so we understand what's converting and what isn't. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Turning them off won't stop the site from working, but it may affect how well we can improve it.
How long we keep it
We keep purchase and financial records for as long as UK law requires for tax and accounting purposes. Marketing data (your email on our list) is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:
- show you what data we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data, where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons
- stop using your data for marketing, at any time, no explanation needed
- send you a copy of your data in a portable format
Email hey@laurahaleydt.com for any of the above. If you're not satisfied with how we've handled a request, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Children
Our products and marketing are aimed at adults running a business. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle your data changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and, where required, tell you directly.
